Laser eye surgery has come a long way since it’s conception. The time for healing is constantly getting shorter and there are new methods to reduce post-surgery complications and optical clarity. However, don’t worry about which type of surgery is right for you – your surgeon will decide for you!
First of all, an eye exam is needed prior to laser surgery to assess the stability of your prescription and the health status of your cornea. It is highly recommended to only have surgery when there is no change in your glasses prescription in the past 2 years. Other factors to consider are the thickness of your cornea and any prior corneal diseases. These are all things we will check for you so all you need to do is book an appointment today!
